The White Swan Hotel Halifax was built in 1858 for local carpet magnate John Crossley. The hotel was built on the site of the White Swan Inn, once famous for being home to the fastest horse drawn coach of the day, the Royal Hope, which could reach London from Halifax in only 27 hours!

The grade II listed building has recently been refurbished in a thoughtful and sympathetic manner to ensure that it meets the needs of 21st century guests whilst retaining the characteristics of its industrial age past.
